Brad Connect is a comprehensive reference tool that allows you to source up to date information on the UK media industry, both quickly and efficiently.I

t does this by giving you detailed editorial, advertising sales and production information for all media channels in a format that's intuitive and user friendly.

Brad has provided accurate, comprehensive advertising information to advertisers and agencies for over 50 years. Today, Brad Connect encompasses every media platform - from newspapers to hot air balloons.
Each entry contains all of the information you need to make advertising decisions:

• contact details
• audience and readership figures
• advertising rates
• production data and more

You can access this resource from the Electronic Library using the Databases A-Z - you'll need a username and password to access the resource available from our password page. If you are accessing the password page from off-campus you need to input users\ before your username in order to get to the page e.g. users\bltjsmit

Downtime - digital collections

The Digital Collections system will be out of action from Friday night (28th May) until Monday 31st am, whilst the server is upgraded. This will affect Electronic Key Texts accessed via Blackboard.

Trial - French Language Journals

We have arranged a trial to a collection of French language journals from CAIRN

A variety of subject areas are covered, including geography, history, political science and sociology

Service Disruption - Saturday 15th May 2010

We have arranged a trial of Skills4studycampus.

It is an interactive e-learning resource focusing on the core study skills required to create successful coursework and achieve top grades. The site combines activities, practice and reflection to help users to learn and develop their study skills
