Severe Network problems

Due to a major electrical disruption in one of our buildings some Liverpool John Moores University computing services are at present unavailable - this includes areas of the Electronic Library.

Computing and Information Services are working to restore all disrupted services.

New Resource - Law

We are pleased to announce that we have purchased the Law module of Oxford Scholarship Online, which is a collection of e-books.

It is available from the Database A-Z on the Electronic Library - search for Oxford Scholarship Online - Law. On campus you do not need to log in to access the resource, off-campus you will need to log in via Athens.

The academic law list at Oxford has a strong tradition of developing exceptional work across the full breadth of legal scholarship. The publications range from the foundations of legal history and philosophy to analytic and comparative work on legal doctrine and empirical research on law in modern society.

In addition to the full text access in law it is possible to access the abstracts and keywords at book and chapter level for the other subject areas.

ARTstor - scheduled maintenance

Please be advised, ARTstor will be performing temporary maintenance this Saturday evening, February 27th, into Sunday morning, February 28th, between the hours of 7:00 PM and 1:00 AM EST. (12 midnight to 6am GMT)
